Friends, I had the good fortune to meet a fellow Postmaster from New York and share our common concerns and daily challenges. He recently sent me an e-mail that contained a view from an Honorable Postmaster in New York. It is four pages long, but every one of us can relate to the the thoughts, the feelings, the commitment to our customers as well as our employees and the business. It could be any one of us. The article is unnamed, but as you read it you can understand why it should be called "Because that is what s/he does".
